#vernonfrancois My love for working with #afro hair started when I was just eight years’ old. Growing up in a Rastafarian household I remember Sundays were about everyone in the kitchen cooking, also braiding our hair for the week ahead. I always complained 🤷🏽‍♂️about having my hair done, my Mum suggested I do it myself. This was my ‘eureka’ moment. 🙅🏽‍♂️I taught myself how to #braid, #loc and #twist using everything from my Grandmother’s beaded curtains to fringing on the living room rug.
